This is the time to add blocking for towel bars, stair railings, wall hung tv and anything else that you want to be secure.
I also ran pvc conduit in a wall from the basement to the attic for any future wiring that may need to be done.

we actually blocked where the door knobs hit the wall when opened.... never had to refill the sheetrock from one of the kids swinging the door open too hard, but it would have been easier
it was scrap lumber anyway
