I would think you only ski in fresh water because you live in Iowa, and you have no choice. That's a good reason considering there's a 1500 mile distance east or west....
Yeah, sharks live in the ocean everywhere. Never heard of a shark attack on a water skier, wake boarder, etc., have you?
