We found a 1998 225 VRS with under 300 Hours on it. It is in very good condition for the year but does need a few things as expected. I replaced the trailer brake actuator, fixed a leak, got the bildge pump working, replaced lift shocks and a few other things to make it new again. I also picked up a used prop 14"X18 for $190 which I am stoked about for getting so cheap.
I am now in the process of redoing the stereo system as the original front speakers are old and hardly work. I am wanting to replace them with the Polk MM651's pictured below and am wondering if they will fit in the front??? Also I am contemplating on moving the bass speaker to the driver foot area. I just hesitate cutting a hole in the original kick pannel.
Nice find with low hours. Going to be a long winter. I bought my boat in the fall as well.
