I used paypal when I sold a barefoot boom shipped to the east coast and cash when I bought a jl audio amp local, both from this forum. I guess I got lucky no issues with either transaction. I would suggest to actually talk on phone to feel out seller, you will never get a spammer on the phone so a conservation is a good sign of being legit.
