I wouldnt mind replacing them over the winter, but I dont think I will be able to find a set of components that will fit where the factory tweeters are because of the awkward size. anybody have ideas suggestions comments??

oh and my boat is a 04 PS209 Sammy D
I mean as long as whatever your upgrading to is same size or bigger it shouldn't be aproblem. I just bought all new JL 7.7" w/ component to replace the 6.5 non components that were in there. Installer will have to make some cuts but mine didn't bat an eye about doing it. I'd go with the JL m class 7.7 components. I know they are $440 a pair but they are worth it and would be about all you need if you don't plan to run a sub.
