They snaps are already on the cover but how do you go about marking the spots and then drilling the fibreglass eastie? How do you avoid spider cracks?

The cover is just a simple pc of sunbrella. If I was to do it again I would probably just take it to a local canvas shop and have them do it......
Put some masking tape on the bow in the approximate location where the snaps will be. Lay the cover on the bow like you want it. Mark the snap locations. Run the drill backwards and go slow. This is what I did on my walkthrough block and did not have any cracking problems.

No guarantees though. I have a permanent bow cover on my current boat.
