5 Speed?!? That's a rare one, too! We almost got an X5 with the 4.4 but with less than 24 hours of ownership, the headlights went on and off on their own, engine almost stalled and rear heat seats came one and off on their own. All with 30,000 miles. Had flashbacks of being in the shop for electrical gremlins......so we returned it and got the Lexus 400h. Not nearly as exciting as the X5.

Thanks!!! I got the X5 for a screaming deal "lease return" the dealer could not sell it because it was a stick. I laughed.
They let me take it for the weekend and all they did was copy my drivers license. I fell in love with it.
I now have 249,000 miles it.
