I'm running a 13.7x17.5 as recommended by Eric at OJ and love it. It slaloms great and surfs well also. I rarely overload the boat using standard ballast with another 300lb sac in the rear on the side the surfer will be. No complaints on the wake for surfing. I have a 14" prop also but it really turns up the RPMs to run at anything above 30MPH. Not a good prop for larger lakes where you'll want to be able to cruse at a good rate. Love the 13.7.......
