Low v-drive oil
Took a 1994 Mastercraft Maristar 225 VRS on a test drive yesterday. V-drive light was flickering after reaching and going over 1200 rpm. Stopped to check oil level and reservoir was not registering much oil at all. After a bit more test drive the light did turn off. There is also oil residue in the ski locker. Dealership filled the v-drive up with oil and says it looks good. I'm hesitant because of the oil in the ski locker. Should I make them look into possible leaks in the v-drive? Or could the oil in the ski locker be from somewhere else? Don't want to purchase a problem boat.
