In the next few weeks I'll be interviewed/evaluated/tested and possibly put on the long list for a transplant as all AKD patients are and if it would happen and it's not rejected and I take care of myself, it will be good for about 10 years. That would put me past the age of 72, which is the age limit for transplants, then I would go back on dialysis for the duration of my life.
