I have a 1999 Maristar 210VRS. The prop shaft apparently came uncoupled while cruising and slammed forward, grinding almost completely through the fuel tank. Does this sound plausible, and has anyone ever seen this before? What v-drive tranny this boat has? ZF Hurth? Is there a service manual available online for the v-drive? I'm attaching a photo of the NEAR-TRAGIC damage to the fuel tank.
