My '05 X-star does not have a zerk fitting, but every time I change props I have to remove the rudder and it gets some grease then too.

It's not that hard to remove the rudder every 50-100 hours if you don't have a grease fitting on it. Gotta keep it greased.

BTW, my rudder always had some play in it fore and aft. A new rudder port is the only way to make it tighter I believe.
