I have been debating this for what seems like forever.
I did on my last truck also and ended up going F-150.

I have priced out a new one's equally equipped with the 5.4 Auto and the 250 is just under $2000 additional.

At this point I am sold on the F-250, if for no ther reason, I like the looks better than the newest generation F-150's.
As far as gas vs. diesel. Before the gas and fuel prices went crazy, I had it figured that it would take about 100,000 miles for the diesel to pay for itself in fuel savings. My guess is that is closer to 130,000 miles now.
As far as 5.4 V8 vs 6.8 V10, while the 360 hp of the V10 sounds tempting, they are a GAS HOG big time.

The interior in the King Ranch is fantastic! Leather seats that are saddle leather quality. (maybe a little too western looking though)
