Be careful about using the Sharkbite fittings when there is a permit pulled. A friend found out the hard way they are not approved by all cities in our neck of the woods. He did some plumbing work and had the inspector over because he had pulled a permit. The Pex was OK, but he had to replace the fittings and use the copper fittings I believe. I have re-plumbed 4 houses with copper, and am looking forward to using Pex next time around. Looks to be cheaper and quicker.
