Get one of these and where it often... and then get the other device to keep for arm strong... I wore the brace all season in 2012... now I always start the season. It's that shock when the rope yanks you out of the water... I always start slow on deep water starts - like 1 second of forward motion then hole shot to get up - eliminates that shock to your for arms. Also get a good pre-stretched rope.
