Driveshaft replacement?

The coupler on my driveshaft has some wiggle to it and has for some time. It's one of those things that has scared me a little but it has been working for years. Basically it looks like the...

Would make trimming the wake really easy though. I won't give up my DD but a very cool idea and I would think less ballast weight would be needed if you trim it properly. Maintaining speed and seeing...

EVA Foam and differences

I'm curious if anyone knows of a real difference in all the EVA foams. I've used Hydroturf, Blacktip, and seen/walked on SeaDek but never purchased it. From what I can tell, they are all the same...

Yeah they are metal rings. Looks like the kit you bought includes them now but maybe not when you bought them. The rings on mine looked fine but figured I'd change them while I was in there anyway. I...

Good call. Actually, I'm not seeing them in your diagram but it's in the 71c manual. It's items 78 and 83 in the pictures attached from your link to the BW71C_72C reduced file.

Good writeup. Thanks!

One question though. I may have missed it but is there any reason that you didn't replace the metal sealing rings?
