Pat,

I may not have written it as clearly as I was thinking.

A 2001 Skier is based upon the hull from the 1995-1997 Prostar. In 2001, it was a "new" boat on the old Prostar hull.

The Prostar in...

Perhaps, but it's quicker to seal it myself in 20 minutes than lose the boat for a few days.

I think it's more of a quality control issue. I would guess most of the boats have gaps that slowly take...

Unless it's clearly loose, I doubt it's the bow ring. +1 for sealing between the rub rail and the hull. Had to do this to my '86, my '03, and my '13. Every one of them had gaps where the rub rail...

It is an option. But you should be able to swap out the paddle wheel assembly with a paddle wheel/depth finder combo unit. Should take about 10 minutes.

Could be a DHM trailer. I believe California Trailers recently acquired them but DHM made a lot of west coast trailers.

Just curious, but does anyone else find it unnecessary to change fuel filters and spark plugs after just 100 hours? On my first MC, I changed plugs, wires, filters, distributor cap, rotor, etc. every...

I too would absolutely consider who the buyer is, and whether the boat will be taken care of. To most people, a boat is just a boat, but to many of us on here, there is an emotional attachment that...

I think the chances of MC bringing back an outboard are slim to none. As mentioned, when margins are so great on the current line of boats, why dedicate resources to a boat that would likely sell at...

Cool looking boat, but 11 years old nonetheless. You can find 2011-2013 WTT boats with low hours in the high 30s and low 40s.

There is likely a premium for the limited edition. But it's a...

A nice boat for $10-$12k is an older Bu Sportster or Response. For whatever reason, the Malibus always had nice high end speed, and a really good barefoot wake (smooth table, nice curl).
