Honestly, I don't think a gate is going to be all you need. You will most likely need some ballast or a bunch of friends on board to help sink the back end a bit.... especially with an mid-engine...

That's a tough one as it looks like the swim platform is actually part of the fiberglass hull. The only way I could see to mount V2.X would be to secure the bracket to the top side of your platform....

That's correct John. There are 2 thumb screws which secure the transom plate to the Wake-Plate Assembly. Simply unscrew with your fingers (no tools required), flip the plate over, and re-attach it....
