Not sure what it is called on a boat, but have a 1999 SportStar, and it is the lid or cover to the storage compartment on passenger side where the stereo is located. Lid used to stay up when opened...

I had same issue. I ended up ordering SeaDek product and LOVE IT! Check out their website. A little pricy but love the look and I got 3 pieces because of the custom order minimum. It's worth it!

I am replacing all the gas struts on my '99 Sportstar. Is there any reason to go up in force/pounds? For instance, go from a 10# to a 20#? Thanks for your input.

Rear sunpad hinge

On the rear sunpad, where the hinge is anchored or bolted into the fiberglass, it is wobbly and loose in the fiberglass. Has anyone had this issue and if so how do you fix?

My trailer sits outside year round. I wash and wax yearly. Just cleaned my carpeted bunks up real well. Should I wrap in plastic to protect until the next time I need the trailer?

Sounds like MDC unit except for boat not starting. I had to replace mine earlier this year. Gauges wouldn't come up or work. However boat did start and run fine. May be a couple things.
