General rule of thumb is to go down 1 jet size...

General rule of thumb is to go down 1 jet size per 1000 ft of elevation. Of course you really need to spend an afternoon tuning a new carb by changing the jets, power valve, squirters and cam gears...

10 btdc stock setting...if you have engine upgrades, modifications more horsepower then you could run a few more degrees but for a very mild or stock engine it's best to set initial ignition timing...
