The LT-1 pic has the plug wire posts to the inside and the ECM is plugged in to the top with the CPS...

The gasket on the engine thermostat is one of the o-ring type which fits around the thermostat. The engine thermostat has a hole drilled in it, so SkiDim is the easiest way to replace it.
