poor running

Hi

Had a very similar running problem ,
ended up being the power valve,
Has the engine spat back through the carb reticently on a throttle opening ?
as this will split the power valve .

Had a similar issue, behind one of of the unions there is a o ring which had perished ,rather than struggling with the pump in place i would remove it then you have a better chance to
undo the...

Hi Guys

Still trying to make sure the MEFI and fuel system are correct , I am now trying to source a well priced TBI pressure regulator and spring ,

Now I thought the system I have is a MEFI 1 ,
however I am being advised that due to the casting number...

Bit of an update , ended up junking the closed water system and converting it back to an open cooling system ,found a used OE alternator on net and the correct engine cover at local...

Choke flap

Hi there

Yes after approx 1-2 minutes the choke flap needs to be wide open and should stay open while the engine is running regardless of how the engine is being used.

Mine did the same last...

Flange removal

Hello there

Leave the puller in place with the tension applied , apply some local heat to the flange with a butane type plumbers blow torch ,while still hot use a hammer and drift or punch to jar...
