The carb seems to be tuned fine enough so I'm not going to mess with it. I ended up having 2 wires mixed up from the distributor and that was causing the blowbacks.. Thanks for the tip mrmastercraft!...

Threw in the towel on the carb rebuild and just bought a new one.. It was an automotive carb anyways. No more bombs waiting to explode over here lol.
