My 1987 MC 190 had a carb. It seemed to run different when hot or cold weather. If you know how to make adjustments, you were okay. I did not know how. My 1996 is EFI would not go back to a carb.

Change oil and filter every 50 hours or yearly. Otherwise waste of time and money. That is what the dealership told me when I bought my 1996 MC 190.

Got the dealership to show me how to winterize my MC 190 in 1996. At $25.00 each time vs $400+ I have saved a lot of $$ in the last 18 years. Do the math!

Yes, I change my impeller in the spring. The issue was mainly about the cost of winterizing. Too me that is not part of winterizing. Last time I bought an one I paid 40 bucks plus shipping

May have a point. That is the way I was taught. Rather have extra protection as not. At least you have 6 months-for me of protection than none. Gunk makes anti rust you add to the RV antifreeze.
