Mastercraft changed to a larger rudder in 2006. Ill try out the new rudder this weekend, but with larger boats as the 45, supposed to be a huge difference in handling.

Stock Rudder--2005 X45

I replaced the stock rudder on my X45 with the larger model. Selling the stock one. Good shape, no dings. Dark marks are just grease smears from removal. $200 shipped in lower 48.

The round odd-shaped plug is a knock sensor/block drain plug. It goes on the port side of the engine, about the middle of the engine (front to back aspect) and on the lower part of the engine above...
