My idea was to keep powering the cab speakers with just the head unit. The four tower speakers I plan to add would be the only thing powered by the amp. Thus the need to control the volume separately...

Thanks for all the input. I think I might have them replace the shaft packing and my rudder port at the same time. Hopefully this will reduce the amount of water in my bilge.

Get an ACME 1235 too. You will poop your pants when you hit the throttle. Plus it's a lot easier on the engine holding the low speeds.
