The purpose of these things is to keep the engine cover up when lifted and to help make lifting it up easier. If your current poundage works for you then I don't see a reason to increase.

Yes, I'm aware of this. I made my comment about MPH because it seemed possible from Mike's post that he was thinking the numbers along the X axis were MPH rather than RPM numbers.
