yes they will seperate, put the cover in a vice between two pieces of wood, and put a wrench on the allen. you may want to scrape paint off first around the cap. the next time is a lot easier.

I need some help hooking up a heater line to a LTR. The place where I would like to put it has a gas line in the way. When I put a allen in the plug it even touches the line.
