So I replaced the impeller in the engine, got the boat on level ground (our driveway is quite the slope)...and ran the hose into the engine with the boat...

There is no water coming out of the 2 exhaust...
There is no water coming out of the 2 exhaust holes in the stern under the swim grid...only out of the top of the shaft.
I have never seen water come out at the top end of the shaft before. Not sure...
