I used a piece of aluminum angle from the back. The screws from the radio went into the angle and the lip of the angle pulled tight to the mounting wall giving more surface area to hang on to.

I'll sometimes turn 90 degrees with a little gas...

I'll sometimes turn 90 degrees with a little gas and take the rollers sideways, then turn toward the person in the water for pickup.

Am I crazy for wanting two boat covers? I have a great towable cover by evolution. I want another cover for when the boat is on the lift. One that covers the swim platform and goes to the water...

Bilge Plug in or out on a boat lift

How many store their boat on a boat lift with the plug out so the rain water that gets thru the cover doesn't collect in the bilge? Do you trust the bilge pump and battery life?

if the battery should spill acid it would go down...

Check the connection where the tower folds up. That connection takes alot of abuse putting cover off and on. Mine had a wire pulled out in the plug.

I agree something is wrong with the starter. My friend cracked the starter case by turning the starter off and on repeatedly. The battery cables got really hot till the found the crack.

I have an 02 X-7. All it came with is a Operations and MAintenance Manual for 02 boat. No a thing specially for the X-7 operation. Did have a nice Owners Manual with the extras you could buy.
