That is from an earlier version of ballast control. You could retrofit that to a '07 X2, but its not going to be plug & play compatible. There would be some re-wiring of the switch connectors.

I think they made that change in '07. My '07 X2 fills/empties from the bottom also. The plumbing is less complicated for that type of system.

Also check the paddle wheel connector near the fuel tank. It is a grey Deutsch 4 pin (but only 3 wires I think). It looks like this.

MC did factory install some pumps with the pump head on the top. The pump heads can leak and the motor is not water-proof, so after time the motor will corrode. This happened on my port side pump...

Probably the voltage is being dragged down by the pumps. Does it do the same thing if you rev the engine above idle?

Might also be a weak battery which isn't taking a charge well.

This happened to one of my ballast pumps. The pump head is stupidly mounted above the motor which is not water tight. I took the motor apart and the bearings at the bottom of the motor were rusted....
