That is exactly what I do now. The lake was very busy the last few days and I was really trying to get back to fallen rider very quickly... but a few more seconds avoiding the rollers works fine.

EE is HEX for 238. With two digit HEX there are 256 intervals of precision so 238/256 is about 93% of maximum. If maximum is 14 volts then EE is about 13 volts.
