I have pulled quite a bit heavier than the xstar and it still has plenty of power still, but only gets 8-10 mpg with that kind of weight. I was on the fence with a f250 diesel...

The switch and all the wiring will be there even if the boat doesn't have them. From the pictures, it doesnt look like it has the heater ports in the cabin.
