Biggest difference from 85 to 86 is graphics....

Biggest difference from 85 to 86 is graphics. Most notable difference as a skier was the cut out over the prop got the back closed off on the 86. Helped with the rooster tail at 36 -22 a lot.

If the fitting is overtightened it is also common in my experience for the flared end to be pressed slightly out of shape. If you're pulling the fitting off, check this prior to reconnecting.
