^^Thank you. I'm too nice a guy to make the magazine/clip correction to folks. I usually whisper to them in private to not embarrass them but to make sure they don't embarrass themselves again later.

Don't do the dock just the lift. Set the lift in deep enough water. Tell them you'll never set foot on the land. Move the boat from there to your normal spot during the day.

One more thing. It's the trailer by itself without the boat. So obviously if you weigh both you can subtract the known weight of the boat.

I set the keel offset at 2' then set the alarm for 3'. That's 5' total depth. I can take the time to add 2' if I want total depth but what I'm worried about is hitting bottom so knowing that distance...
