I made one out of 3/4" plywood and PVC pipe. You can change pipe sizes and it changes how the balance point under the board changes slower or faster. Kind of interesting. I don't use it for work...

I'm not quite sure on depth yet. I'll bet out there this weekend to get some of this info and take some additional measurements. I plan to measure depth at front of slip and at each cradle.
