Well you have three different hulls in there. 1991-1994 was on the same hull. 95-97 was another and then 2001-2003.

Of those I think the 95-97 is the most well rounded pure slalom tug.

Considering the pretty cheap cost of a new sending unit I wouldn't fool with trying to fix the old one. Not really worth the time and effort IMHO. Put in a new one and don't have to worry about it...

I used a razor knife (box cutter) with a new blade and a metal straight edge. The Seadeck cuts clean and easy.

Will get a few photos next time...

I just got done replacing the steering cable in my '97 Prostar this weekend. Easy enough job. Part is less than $200 from www.skidim.com and took me 1.5 hours to do my install. Steers like new now...
