Looks awesome and I love how you used real carbon fiber and not the crappy carbon fiber tape. Some stainless steel cup holders would really make that pop....

Ok thanks. Sounds pretty standard then. I've rebuilt a 351w twice now and pretty familiar with them. Figured if there were any weak points on the boat that may not be obvious, people on here would...

93 Mastercraft 205

Looking at possibly buying a 93 MC 205. The guy wants about $10k for it and it looks to be in good shape. Anything I should look out for? He says it's carbureted so I'm guess it's the Ford...

Overheating issue

I'm at a loss on my 86 351W. It runs fine below about 28-30mph but above that and it'll start creeping up to 200 degrees before I back off. It only takes about 30-60 seconds to get out of control....

Well I managed to score a new shaft and coupler for $235 shipped! Apparently the shafts that were the right size for my boat were luckily overstocked. I was seriously considering having everything...

Just enough to see that it is twisting but you can't really see the keyway edges getting mismatched.

Sorry, this shaft and coupler is more closely related to nautiques. I'd ask over on those forums...

Driveshaft replacement?

The coupler on my driveshaft has some wiggle to it and has for some time. It's one of those things that has scared me a little but it has been working for years. Basically it looks like the...

Would make trimming the wake really easy though. I won't give up my DD but a very cool idea and I would think less ballast weight would be needed if you trim it properly. Maintaining speed and seeing...

EVA Foam and differences

I'm curious if anyone knows of a real difference in all the EVA foams. I've used Hydroturf, Blacktip, and seen/walked on SeaDek but never purchased it. From what I can tell, they are all the same...

Good writeup. Thanks!

One question though. I may have missed it but is there any reason that you didn't replace the metal sealing rings?
