This is 6:20am on Friday. Much bigger water on another section of the lake but it tends to stay smooth around us...

Seems fine, I’d do what he says too. Contact cement is what most folks use for hydro turf on jet skis which is similar to a surf pad, and it works very well.

I’m not sure what it is, but checking fuel pressure in the driveway with no load is not the same as checking under load. Takes a lot less fuel to rev in the driveway vs pushing the boat to speed....

I use a ram mount “x grip” suction cupped to the windshield. No need for handling the phone on the boat much (leave it in the mount to adjust music) and pretty safe.

I have a Clarion M505 in pontoon and M606 in X9 and both do what you’re wanting. Even the 2001 model remote in the X9 works with the M606 with an adapter

Might be fuel pump whining. Check gas tank vents, if plugged tank might be pulling a vacuum and causing pump to work harder and eventually not keep up.

Easy way to check is run with loose gas cap...

The picture shows an O2 sensor. Seems like this might not be that easy to install in the dry part of the exhaust manifold.
