Thanks for your advice everyone. Sounds like there are benefits in going bigger if you have the extra $ but will be fine with 5.7 and an upgraded prop.

I thought that the X10 would have a better surf wake - meant to be their surf boat? The X15 has surf tabs but I thought that the X10 hull was shaped to maximise the surf wake?
