The retaining nut is a nyloc and should be replaced. You can buy the nut cheap and use it as a template to make your own socket.

The 200 is similar to the 197, lots of wetted surface on the hull. Makes for great tracking but tough to make them go fast.

I'm guilty of giving people bad ideas. Lot's of folks question me at the ramp, then I tell them the boat is #1600 less fuel. With the tall tires I do need to use low range pulling the boat out....

Check your strut bushings. Should be two rubber bushings on each end on the inside of the strut. Grab the prop with two hands and try to move it side to side. You should have very little play.
