Just using the bit and chuck worked great. It also helped me ensure I only went through the the fiberglass and not all the way through the wood and vinyl.

So I was getting fumes underway but also when the boat was backed into the garage. If I was working in the boat, and moving around, it would cause the fuel in the tank to move...

That bottom looks like it is going to take some work with the buffer and that won't be fun. The buffer is really heavy after a while when holding it...
