When water gets to tstat, flow is simply regulated by it...

Keep in mind draining is probably enough, RV is cheap insurance.

I found it a PITA to remove from packaging also. I used a razor and cut around the perimeter of gasket to aid removal.

Should really be packaged differently IMHO.
