Thanks mike I guess I will just have to keep pulling it out to drain all the trany fluid out of the bottom of the boat. How hard is it to change both seals? And yes it will be a september job.

Velvet drive still leaving.

I have tightened all the hoses i can find but it still leaks. I get about 3/4 of a tank then have to top back up. Where else should I check?:confused:

Mine did the same was a lose bolt not letting it...

Mine did the same was a lose bolt not letting it go backwards. It was the bolts that holds the throttle on the boat. Hope that helps.

Air filter

Not sure if it a spark arestor or air filter but when I put mine on on top of the carb it kills the motor. Anyone ever cleaned one, and what should I use?

Electric fuel pump

I put an electric fuel pump on my 76 S & S. Inline pump but it seems that the gas drains back down the line and I have to re prim it to get it going again. Any suggestions? :confused:
