I have the ACME 541 on my '92 PS205 (351 HO). I progressed to that prop from stainless 13x13 to OJ 13x13 (non-CNC), then the 541. No contest! That CNC prop delivers the bacon!

I've owned a 1985 S&S and now own a 92 PS205.
As far as ski wakes, the 91-94 PS wins hands down (even in 205 size), especially if dealing with prop wash/hump from a power slot. I still ski behind a...

Sounds like heat soak on the starter. I'm experiencing a similar problem, though not as severe as yours sounds. Once my motor gets really hot, restarting needs more battery power. When motor is cool,...

You will be happy with the Uflex. I did one on my old '85 S&S and it was like night and day. One finger steering and worth every penny. I bought mine through SKIDIM.

Glad you posted this. I've always thought my tach reads low - like 800 rpm off at the upper end. I have a spare tach but never got around to hooking it up to see how it reads compared to the stock...

I understand your concern but I've also never had anything fly out of my 205 in the 5 years I've been trailering it. I usually tow between 65-70 with short stretches above that.
I do have a bow cover...

Not offhand but I can take a measurement for you. I have the tower folded down in order to fit into its home. It is tall though, at least 11-12 feet from ground level. Folding it down requires...

I went from a '85 S&S to a '92 PS205. So much more room in the boat, more plush, more versatile and a better ski wake to boot.
As mentioned above, find another 205 if no trailer is a problem....

Upgrade. Been there, done that. Rebuilt my 4010 and still ran poorly. Put on a nicely rebuilt 4160, a little tuning, and have never looked back.
