Better bottom end with ballast and better top end for footing. Closest thing to a free lunch I'll ever get!

take the cover off, get a little water and soap in there and bump the engine over a few times.

paint can lid tool is hard to beat for leveraging out an impeller, if there is room on your vdrive

If I was buying a boat and the prop had problems, I would factor the cost of a new prop. I would also be concerned about the shaft and strut, depending on how bad the prop was damaged.
