Transmission level check

The manual says "Quickly re-insert it fully and immediately remove" does this mean screw it in, or insert to the treads and remove?

Oil change after fogging

If I fog through the spark plugs (like I have done since I got my x10 a couple of years ago) how important is it change the oil again in the spring if I just changed it in the fall?

Changed the spark plugs on my 2005 mcx before putting it away for the winter. I didn't think of it then, but now that Iím getting ready to use it was I suppose to gap the spark plugs, and if so...
