Kman... This logic is just faulty, in my opinion - not concerning the internal failure of a head gasket between cylinders - because I've seen that happen. But it does not fit the symptoms for this...

The gaskets that came with the manifolds were fiber composite, and honestly, just baked to death. They've got less than 50 hours on...

Last weekend I was out for a ski run in the old girl, and she appears to have blown an exhaust manifold gasket.

It's a new gasket (replace manifolds in the spring). Not sure what brand...
