the Rinda reader that I purchased cost 50 bucks. Available from amazon.com is an indmar repair book for 30 dollars, has code listings and a lot of other good stuff.

On my 2001 Prosrar, 5.7L TBI, the DLC is located on a pig-tail below the distributor. After you remove protective cap the letters labeling each terminal can be seen on the side. Install 1 paperclip....

Diagnostic code tool

Recently purchased a code tool from Rinda tech. The tool works great, but the LED illuminates with the ignition switch off. Is this normal?
