Yes - it can lose pressure quickly if you aren’t getting a good seal - which can be done with worm clamps but it’s difficult.

I believe single, tan wire is for temp sensor to gauge. But I don’t think your MCX uses it. I’s just part of the wiring harness but goes unused. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
